Upon completion of his studies, he joined Orchid Pharma to spearhead the development of enzymatic technologies for the manufacture of APIs and intermediates. With a strong foundation in Molecular Biology, Fermentation Engineering, and industrial bioprocess development, he contributed significantly to advancing eco-friendly routes for APIs, intermediates, and nutraceuticals. He has several domestic and international patents to his credit. As the founder and driving force behind Micha Life Sciences Private Limited, he has positioned the company as a rising player in the Indian biotech landscape—especially in sustainable biocatalytic platforms. (Organic Chemistry), is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of leadership experience in Pharmaceutical API manufacturing, spanning Research & Development (R&D), process development, scale-up, production, and quality assurance. He has held key leadership positions in reputed organizations such as Glaxo India, Seksaria Chemicals, RPG Life Sciences, and Orchid Pharma Ltd.
With extensive expertise in developing commercially viable and GMP-compliant API manufacturing processes, he has played a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory readiness and driving operational excellence across organizations. His deep understanding of pharmaceutical process optimization, quality systems, and manufacturing operations has enabled the successful implementation of robust production strategies.
